Caversham Park Theatre was founded in 1966 by villagers moving on to a half-built housing estate. We enjoy charity status as a section of Caversham Park Village Association (reg no; 272950)

In a normal year we mount two productions plus the occasional one-off event. We are mainly an acting group but have an open mind and can sing and dance with the best of them when required!

Whilst we rehearse mainly on Friday nights this may increase from time to time. An additional rehearsal on a Sunday is usually all that is necessary as we get closer productions which normally run from Thursday to Saturday.

What happened to 'Are You Being Served?'

You may have read that we intended to stage ‘Are You Being Served?’ this spring.

Sadly we have decided to ditch the idea because we just couldn’t get close enough to the characters. And with this of all TV Sitcoms it would have been essential.
