Where would you like to live?

Where would you like to live? OK, that's a rather wide question, so lets narrow the choice. Consider the two options below:

Option A:

A house on a large estate on the edge of a busy town. There are plenty of trees and green spaces, and a playing field and woodland nature reserve a short walk away. The town centre shops and railway station are a bus ride away. In the centre of the estate there is a small children's playground next to some anonymous buildings. You see your neighbours occasionally when they are washing their cars or mowing their lawn.

Option B:

A home on a large estate on the edge of a busy town. There are plenty of trees and green spaces, and a playing field and woodland nature reserve a short walk away. The town centre shops and railway station are a bus ride away. In the centre of the estate there is a small children's playground next to the Community Centre buildings. You see your neighbours there at various events such as the regular Quiz Nights, or at the Social Club for a relaxing drink. There is a range of activities for all ages, from the Early Year's centre, Parents and Toddler's group, Caversham Park Pre-School, right through to the Older-Generation Lunch Club. The Caversham Park Theatre stage a play and a pantomime each year, which are always good fun and great value. You can choose to take part in a range of sporting activities including Squash, Badminton, and Table-Tennis, or relax with Yoga sessions. You might like to play Bridge, or to get involved in the Pool or Darts teams. Bring the kids down for the Family Nights, or enjoy a live music event. The annual Village Festival always has loads of events and activities for the whole community.

You may recognise both of these as descriptions of Caversham Park Village. The first describes a housing estate. The second describes a community.

So, where would you like to live?

If you prefer Option A, you don't have to do anything as you already live there.
